5th North American Maccabi Seminar

Shlichim and Directors will organize the 5th Annual North American Maccabi Seminar by bringing their areas of expertise to create vibrant, fun, and meaningful study seminars. One of the main objectives will be to strengthen Maccabi’s identity, a goal we believe will be achieved. Mutual learning was outstanding. The sessions, workshops, activities, conferences, and the overall experience of working together at the San Diego Maccabi Ken provide an opportunity for participants to get to know each other.

Shabbat will be one of the program highlights, featuring a collective Kabbalat Shabbat Service (using our Kabbalat Shabbat Maccabi Siddurim), Kidush, Seudat Shabbat (the Shabbat dinner), and special activities on the meaning of Shabbat and its relevance today. The San Diego Jewish Maccabi Ken Community and its Maccabi Tzair San Diego Movement will be hosting the event which will take place from February 3-6.

In attendance will be Maccabi Tzair San Diego, Miami and Fort Lauderdale (our newest Maccabi Tzair Branch).

Eight (8) Shlichim that are currently completing their shlichut in the US will be present.
