Leaders in the Making

MWU's Global FLF Program building the next generation of Maccabi Leaders

  • 16 July, 2024

45 future leaders from 12 countries participated in the MWU's Global FLF Program in Israel. This powerful program, partnered with Taglit/Birthright, provided participants with professional tools and unforgettable experiences.

"It was truly transformative," shared a program participant. "I gained invaluable knowledge, built meaningful connections, and deepened my connection to Israel."

Leadership Development & Cultural Immersion

Under the guidance of experienced facilitators, the young leaders improved their leadership skills, volunteered in local communities, and engaged in thought-provoking discussions about Zionism. They also visited sites in the south, such as Sderot and the Nova memorial, as well as the Maccabi Jewish Sports Museum, which showcases over 100 years of Maccabi Movement achievements.

Inspired and Empowered

Thanks to the dedication of program leaders Ginette Laufer and Analia Grauer and the MWU Department of Education led by Rabbi Carlos Tapiero, these future leaders returned home energized and equipped to make a positive impact. Chazak Ve'ematz!
