Honoring Our Heroes - Ben Shimoni

Ben (Binyamin) Shimoni was at the Nova party near Kibbutz Re'im. On October 7th, when the Hamas attack began, he managed to escape to Be'er Sheva but chose to return to rescue his friends, bringing them to safety twice.
On his third return, he saved even more people. Tragically, on his way back, he encountered an ambush by terrorists and was murdered.
The "Heroes" project, spearheaded by singer and songwriter Gilad Segev, is a non-profit initiative celebrating Jewish heroism through music and stories. From the days of Abraham to contemporary times, the project aims to reshape perceptions of the Jewish people by highlighting their enduring acts of bravery and resilience.
